Would you like to be part of a group of Malaysian startups to learn from the world-renowned faculty and industry experts from Stanford University? Would you also like to build and expand your network in Silicon Valley?

As part of a 3-year partnership with Stanford, Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) is now looking for the fourth cohort of 50 entrepreneurs (up to 2 co-founders per startup) to participate in the e@Stanford Program, an immersive innovation, and entrepreneurship program at Stanford University and Silicon Valley.

The program is for experienced entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses by spending 2 weeks at Palo Alto, California for full exposure to Stanford & Silicon Valley innovation thinking and the latest practices. Participants will work intensively on their startups with Stanford coaching and learn to examine business opportunities with sharpened eyes while also improve upon their plans regarding product design and development, execution, and go to market.

Be part of the program to gain invaluable insights from Stanford faculty, build relationships with potential mentors and investors in the Valley, and develop peer-to-peer support network with fellow entrepreneurs.


You are entitled for:

1 week of innovation & entrepreneurship program at
Stanford University
including certificate of completion

Program valued at MYR 45,000 per person
(not including flights, travel insurance, and US Visa)

Exposure to build global network in Silicon Valley

Facilitation to obtain US B1/B2 Visa (with validity up to 10 years, depending on individuals)

2-week immersive program in Silicon Valley, including accommodation and ground transport in US

  • Must be Malaysians (up to 2 co-founders per startup)

  • Must have assessed market size and have conducted customer validation

  • Must have at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

  • Product/Service must be high growth, highly scalable and have the potential to expand regionally or globally

  • Must be able to attend the Pitch Competition in June 2017 if shortlisted

  • Must be able to travel to the United States in August 2017 if selected

  • Once selected, must be able to show proof of flight ticket purchase, travel insurance, and US Visa before departure


  • Completed application form

  • Pitch Deck (maximum 10 slides in PDF format), consisting of the Problem, the Solution, Target Market Size, Business Model, Competition, Milestones, Team Profile

  • Video (no longer than 90 seconds – any footage beyond the 90-second mark will be ignored):

    Elevator Pitch statement and quick self introduction by co-founders applying for the program.

  • Advice: No advanced video editing is required.The content of your message is more important for our consideration. Make sure your voice is clear, this should NOT be a product demo video.
